Mis/Representation of Art and Culture:

Museums are dispensers of information. They provide knowledge in a number of different ways on multiple subjects. Despite the inherent differences in the nature of the information, these places overlap in one regard; people visit museums in the hopes of attaining knowledge and insight on a range of subjects. This fact is the basis of many of the problems faced by museums worldwide due to the varied expecations of the clientele. Resolving this dichotomous relationship- the museum as cultural/religious institution vs. the museum as artistic epicenter of a community is the task set forward in this thesis.

Después de defender su tesis de honor (el trabajo que tiene en sus manos) en Bates College en Lewiston, Maine, Jamie regresó a la ciudad de Nueva York, donde comenzó a trabajar en la industria publicitaria.
