Mites In Farm Manure

Pesticides is the main tool that the most farmers use as urgent and effective method to manage pests. Non target organisms such as predacious mites is one of beneficial organisms which play basic and important role in biological control. Therefor, a survey was conducted to identify the species of non-target mites which inhabiting farm manures especially cattle manure, sheep manure and poultry manure. Meanwhile, the toxicity impact of some pesticides that follow different chemical classes were studied to know their activity on non-target organisms under field conditions.

Saleh Abdel-sattar Baheeg was born in Alexandria, Egypt in November,1982. Graduated from Faculty of Agriculture in 2003, and he work in Egyptian plant quarantine. He obtained his M.Sc. in Plant Protection from Department of Plant Protection ,Faculty of Agriculture Saba-Basha,Alexandria Univ.,Alexandria,Egypt.
