The deregulation of the telecommunication sector by the government was a great relief to many people who could not afford mobile phones and internet under the government regulated sector. It also made communication cheaper and easier and provided employment opportunities for many unemployed people especially in the private sector of the economy. However, despite its usefulness to everyday life of the people and contribution to economy growth and development, mobile communication has become an easy instrument in the hands of criminal offenders to perpetrate heinous crimes. This book shed lights on the nature of criminal offending through the aid of mobile communication. The analysis provides useful insight as to how mobile phones facilitates the commission of violent crimes.
