Mobility is a prime need of mankind. It is the basis not only of economical and technical but also of cultural progress. Many questions arise with respect to the development and the problems of mobility in the 21st century. This book presents the results elaborated by a project team consisting of students of the "Bayrische Elite-Akademie". They applied themselves to four main topics: - Bimodal transport system. - Mobility and transport in agglomoration areas. - Analogies of physical and virtual traffic. - How communication technologies influence the future of mobility.
