Modeling and control of DC drivers using MATLAB/PSB
Details
With the advent of speed control techniques using static power converters, dc drives are widely used for various applications. This monograph is aimed to illustrate the operative response of various configurations of dc drives for changes on the source side as well as on the load side. Operational analysis of speed control system using static power converters has been successfully discussed and illustrated. Implementation of PI controller and fuzzy logic controller for the determination of reference current has been discussed and illustrated. Modeling and control of different configurations of dc drives included in this monograph enhances and motivates researchers to conduct research investigations using MATLAB/Power System Blockset. This monograph also illustrates the successful application of speed control systems using armature voltage control and field control methods. Praise and glory to ALMIGHTY GOD for the successful compilation of this monograph.
