Dr. Muhammad Rafique joined Azad Jammu and Kashmir
University in 1999 as a lecturer. In 2001, he joined the
Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences to
pursue his PhD studies. He completed his PhD in 2005 and
rejoined the Department of Physics at the AJK University,
where he is currently serving as an Assistant Professor. His
areas of research are Reactor physics, radiation shielding,
health Physics and fluid dynamics. He has published a number
of research papers in above mentioned fields. Nasir M. Mirza
did his PhD from Purdue University, USA in 1989 and has been
associated with Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied
Sciences (PIEAS) for over 15 year as professor of physics and
applied mathematics. He has also served as a Dean Research at
the PIEAS and currently chairs the Department. He has
extensive international experience in the computational
physics and reactor physics. His main research interests
include Modeling and Simulation, Computational Physics,
reactor physics and Stochastic processes. Professor Nasir
Mirza has published over 50 technical papers in various
highly reputed international scientific and technical
journals in the fields of Computational Physics, Numerical
Techniques and Applied Physics. Sikander M. Mirza did his PhD
from Purdue University, USA in 1990. He is professor in the
Department of Physics and Applied Mathematics, at Pakistan
Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS). He has
served as Head of the Department and currently serving as
Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences at PIEAS. His main
research interests include Computational Physics, Modeling
and Simulation, Radiation Physics and Advanced Numerical
Techniques. He has published numerous scientific and
technical journal articles in several areas including
Numerical Methods, Computational and Simulation Physics and
Applied Physics.
