Modeling the municipal heat and power station

The book contains information about ways of generating the electric energy with applying Kalina cycle or Organic Rankine cycle. Thermodynamic, economical and exergy analysis was performed for three arrangements of the combined heat and power station with Kalina cycle powered by energy of low-temperature geothermal water (which deposits are available in Stargard Szczecinski area, Poland) or biomass energy or energy coming from co-burning biomass with coal.

Roksana Mazurek was born 9 July 1980 in Stargard Szczecinski, Poland. Currently, she is a Ph.D candidate at Department of Heat Technic of West Pomeranian University of Technology. Her scientific interests concern the technology of electric energy production with using Organic Rankine Cycle and Kalina cycle.
