MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY

This book basically explains the concept of the man machine system by taking an example of loco shed. For this Industrial case study is consider ofCrankshaft and liner piston maintenance activity of loco shed. Aim is to solve the industry problem (Field Study) using mathematical modeling approach. In this mathematical model contributes to improve the quality of human life of the workers and the operators with the enhancement of the productivity by controlling the process variables. Field study identifies the numbers of process variables (Independent and dependent variables) which influence the man machine system. Thus the mathematical model is formulated.

Dr Kanchan Borkar is working as the Assistant Engineer in the MES and complete her under graduate and post graduate in Mechanical Engineering from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. She completed her PhD degree in the Mechanical Engineering from RTM Nagpur University. She published 10 research papers in the International Journals with 3 patents.
