Modern Cryptography

With the evolution of internet applications, the networking technology has not been just confined to resource sharing but has boomed in the arena of online banking, e-shopping, stock market and Bill payments etc. Data transfer between these applications without Security is not reliable. Cryptography algorithms provides the security to data which is exchanged over internet. Encryption algorithms can be categorized into two broad domains of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. This study provides the understanding through different parameters and their contribution in the performance of networks which can be used for the development of highly efficient and secured computer networks.

Gurjeevan Singh is working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus (Poly Wing), Ferozepur since 2010. He has published various papers in internationals journals & conferences. His main Research interests are Network Security, MANETs and VLSI design.
