Autorentext

Dr. Dirk Ehnts ist als Dozent und Autor tätig. Der promovierte Ökonom lehrt unter anderem in Studiengängen an der Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation und an der Torrens University in Australien (online). Seine akademische Laufbahn führte ihn u.a. als Vertretungsprofessor an die Freie Universität Berlin und die Europa-Universität Flensburg. Dazu war er am Bard College Berlin und der Berlin School of Economics and Law als Dozent beschäftigt sowie an der TU Chemnitz und der Universität Oldenburg als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter. Er ist Mitglied des Ausschusses für die Geschichte der Wirtschaftswissenschaften beim Verein für Socialpolitik und beschäftigt sich in der seiner Forschung hauptsächlich mit Geldtheorie, Makroökonomik und Ideengeschichte. Er war als Sachverständiger im Finanzausschuss des Deutschen Bundestags und des irischen Parlaments eingeladen und ist Vorstandssprecher der Samuel-Pufendorf-Gesellschaft für politische Ökonomie e.V. in Berlin.
