MOLECULAR AND SOCIO-MEDICAL ASPECTS OF CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE

ANTONIO GEORGIEV MD MSc PhD, Cardiologist, The coronary artery disease is number one killer in the world. This disease is a global challenge which needs global solution. There is a need of global action in order to achieve global success. Finally, I would like to sum up with a quote by Aristotle (384-322 B.C.), the greatest philosopher of Ancient Macedonia, the father of science and philosophy: "Everything we do is with an intention to do something else". I hope that this work will stimulate new ideas, new types of research aiming to the well-being of the human kind on Earth and to the future generations that come.

He graduated at the Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, R.of Macedonia. By many publications and articles, he has popularized and promoted health education of the population regarding the prevention, early diagnosing and contemporary treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
