This book is written mostly from the viewpoint of the basic scientist who works at the cellular and molecular level. As molecular biology is one of the fore front subjects in research and development these days, it has become almost necessary for the students to have a hold on this subject. Coupled with the molecular biology are the bio-techniques employed in every walk of research. A student aspiring to be a researcher needs to have a fair knowledge of the basic lab techniques used in R&D. The author has completed his Master''s Degree in Biochemistry from Kashmir University. He has also qualified the prestigious CSIR- JRF.He is presently working as a Senior Research Scholar in Department of Immunology & Molecular Medicine in SKIMS, Kashmir in pursuance of his doctoral degree on molecular pathogenesis of CRC in Kashmir Valley.
