Tourism is leisure, illicit leisure may facilitate financial crime as studies and records have shown. But globalization is what the liberals call it, but how safe is it without adequate mechanism to checkmating money laundering in the tourism sector of the world today? This book is an exploratory research with precised data to reflecting the role of tourism on money laundering and other financial crime related issues on basis of global immigration. This is not a critique to open borders or closed borders, but an objective studies on the inflow and outflow of money and financial crimes across our borders today. This menace could be leisure to some, but crime to others. But, the role of an academia is to articulate a research problem, alongside his ability to recommend workable solutions to the research problem at any given period of time for the benefit of the society at large. However, according to the Marxists, there is no end to financial crime in our society. But, crime could be minimized to its lowest level. So let's articulate the issues, and find a way out to keep minimising the level of the crime articulated.
