MONKEYPOX AND NUTRITION

Monkeypox can be transmitted by an infected animal or person. The virus enters the body through a lesion in the skin (not visible), respiratory tract or mucous membranes.The main objective of this book is to strengthen the health system in the management of this viral disease in terms of nutrition, and to help the community understand the role of nutrition in the event of an ortho simian poxvirus (OVS ) epidemic.In this book, we have listed some essential foods for ortho poxvirus epidemics, divided into seven categories: foods that maintain healing, analgesic and anti-inflammatory foods, foods that boost immunity, Zinc-rich foods, foods to avoid for healing and foods that weaken the immune system.
