Moral Determinism In George Eliot 's Novels

Destiny can, sometimes, be very harsh towards human beings. So everybody must be vigilant:YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. George Eliot displays this Universal Law in her novels -including Adam Bede, Middlemarch and Silas Marner - very accurately in an artistic way.What every character does is like a hunter that hunts, inevitably, the doer of the act, at the end.No evil act can be hidden forever and No virtuous act is remained unrewarded forever. Therefore, all sinners must expect to face the consequences of their terrible immoral acts. This book analyzes the characters of Eliot 's three major works according to her philosophy of Moral Determinism to show how every character faces his/her destiny.
