The present study shows the morphological characterization through body composition and conditional profile, by determining the aerobic power of skaters as a means to optimize the processes of selection and orientation of sports training for specialization in skating; Sanchez et al. 2012 refers that the physical evaluation and control of speed skating training allow to guide the way forward in the planning process and decision making in the preparation of athletes.Speed skating is considered an endurance sport due to the type and duration of competitions that are carried out, it is a cyclical type where physical condition training has the function of increasing the power of the locomotor apparatus, the technical level and tactical qualities, according to Zapata, et al. 2006 it is one of the sports that demands the best physical condition of the athlete.
