Concrete is probably the most extensively used construction material in the world. The addition of mineral admixture in cement has dramatically increased along with the development of concrete industry, due to the consideration of cost saving, energy saving, environmental protection and conservation of resources. The demand for Portland cement is increasing dramatically in developing countries. As testing on fly ash and bottom ash within permissible limits, it may use supplementary cementing materials. After replacement of cement we may be optimize percentage of flyash for effective use. the bottom ash and fly ash practically may used to minimize cracks in concrete and a second alternative to natural sand upto a certain replacement level. Here is small attempt to recall use of TPS (thermal power plant) bottom ash and fly ash at minor level.
