Motivation: Theory Of Prerna

Keeping people motivated and energized towards relationships and work is probably the biggest problem you face in an organization. This book has researched all sectors, Defence, Public, Private (covering service and manufacturing organizations of varied sizes), and even, Ex-Terrorists to study what motivates people the most. Thus, this research based book proposes a Motivation Model, Theory of Prerna , applicable universally. A highly motivated employee works more effectively and efficiently than an employee lacking interest and joy in work. In this study, the authors emphasize that the strongest motivating factors are Inspirational Leadership, Trust in Interpersonal Relations and Culture of the organization. With one of the author, himself from Defence sector followed by education sector, and the second author, being from manufacturing sector, care was taken to testify the applicability of the Theory of Prerna. Bernard Shaw once remarked: "If you teach a man anything, he will never learn." Shaw was right. Learning is an active process. We learn by doing.
