Multi-Band OFDM System for realistic UWB-WPAN channel

Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is one of the most promising technologies that supports and satisfy the growing demand for low-cost, high-speed digital wireless indoor and home networks i.e., Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs). This book attempts to present comprehensive coverage of the fundamental issues in UWB technology, with particular focus on the multiband orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (multi-Band OFDM) approach for WPANs. The book provides modelling and performance analysis of a novel Multi-Band OFDM UWB-WPAN system enabling high data transmission rates with effective low bit error rates (BER), which is future expectations and emerging trend in research and development. This book should be especially useful to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Wireless Communications and Networking fields, or anyone else who may be considering research on this new and interesting topic.
