Municipal Budgeting in an Unstable Economy

This book is about how municipalities manoeuvre through in budgeting for their core business under serious economic challenges or instability. Its general objective is to establish the impact of economic challenges experienced in the period 1999-2009 on municipal budgeting in the Bulawayo City Council in Zimbabwe. Policy recommendations are also provided with the aim of improving strategies used by BCC in such conditions.

Henry Nyoni is a Zimbabwean researcher born on the 29th of July 1987. Henry holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Rural and urban Planning from the University of Zimbabwe attained in 2009. He has worked extensively as a researcher in the development sector.
