The presented work details elaborate research work as well as in soil physics chemistry, biomass production, as well as nutrient cycling in agroforestry plantations, changes in microbial soils, and hydrological cycling in municipal effluent irrigated plantations. The work thus reveals basic economics of raising effluent irrigated plantations. Data analysis used in this thesis is both - most pertinent to the planning sciences as well as advanced. The use of REML and Canonical variates shall draw attention of all plant / biology researchers.

Ajay Sharma is an agriculture graduate, a post graduate in forestry (both from India), and holds a PhD (from Australia) focusing municipal effluent disposal using plantations. He has published 3 dissertations, 2 booklets, 3 book chapters, 15 journal articles and 11 conference publications.
