this collection of poems and 2am thoughts is for all of you who keep answering with 'i'm fine' or 'i'm okay' in times you're not. all those sad souls who do not want to bother others and decide to remain silent, i hope that this book gives you a little comfort on your journey called life. i know that this is no guidebook on how to overcome the way you feel, but all these lines are dedicated to the ones who decide to choose the path to slowly heal and bloom again. yes, you will.

Nguyen Vo Thanh is a young student who lives in Germany. She studies English and philosophy to become a teacher and is currently writing her master thesis. Growing up in a Vietnamese household, her parents had an immense impact on her writing. In 2015 she started writing songs and poems and posted them on Instagram. She then realized that writing wasn't a coping mechanism to overcome trauma and stress. It was the dream she wanted to share with others. She fell in love with writing and connecting souls through words. Still, she is writing her 2am thoughts in her notes whenever it rains outside, she looks at the sky, passes by a flower shop or listens to her favorite song on repeat.
