This book tells You one of the stories from the now-occupied city of Mariupol. Inside are memories of the events, lots of different thoughts. It was our decision, to stay at home, and the experiences we have had were nothing other than the consequences to that very choice.I wish it would not hurt so much. My burning memory.

Greetings, dear Reader! If you are interested in the person behind all the words in this book, here's something: I am born and raised Ukrainian from Mariupol, with a passion for writing since my early childhood. I enjoy expressing myself with words and exploring various ways to address a feeling. I have had this idea since I got out of the occupation, to publish my story, but could not get enough courage to do it at once. But here it is, thanks to the YSA 2023. :) P.S: with regards to the photos included in this book, most of them correspond to same time when the story takes place. There is an exclusion, however, in the Chapter 4: the picture there is of another munition. Not from the ones that were used in the shelling that day. Thank You very much for reading!
