My Seventh 7th Year In Israel

This book is a reflection on my seventh year in Israel - part personal narrative, part narration of some ideas in philosophy, art and reflections on life in general. The reader may find points of common interest that shall assist in navigating their own life, finding inner calm within the storm and the tenacity to forge ahead into an unknown future. Seven represents a kind of elevation of the six mundane days, but is nevertheless caught within the unpredictable and often repetitive cycle on the continuous flow of day to to day existence.

Daniel Shorkend holds a PhD in art history and is a practicing artist. He has published several works of fiction and non fiction and resides in Haifa, Israel.
