My Walk & My Talk

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words." Proverbs 18:21"My Walk & My Talk" is about how the above Bible verse changed my Christian life when I applied it to my then situation. When I look back today, after more than 10 years, I realize that my life as a Christian revolves around and is influenced by what comes out of my mouth and over my tongue. Words have power - they can build or destroy, heal, or kill. I have learned that I have the power and authority to live my life as God intended and that I must not allow outside influences to dictate who I am in Christ.Even though Jesus called me just as I am, He loves me too much to allow me to remain just as I am. He set a guard over my mouth and keeps watch over the door of my lips. (Psalm 141:3)My life is "a book" that is meant to be seen and read to encourage all to "... taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favoured by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him." (Psalm 34:8)
