One of the major threats to the society and environment is air pollution, which causes ill effects on humans, as well as the environment. The main contributor to air pollution is exhaust gases released from automobiles like carbon dioxide, unburned hydrocarbons, etc. Environment harmful gases are absorbed efficiently within the silencer and keep the automobile environment friendly. A silencer was used to attenuate exhaust noise in various environments. In internal combustion engines, exhaust gas recirculation is a nitrogen oxide emissions reduction technique used in diesel engines.
