This is owing to advancements in interdisciplinary sciences and novel strategies in isolation, purification, and identification techniques. These novel formulations were discovered to offer notable benefits over traditional formulations of plant origin, including improved solubility, advanced bioavailability, reduced toxicity, better pharmacological activity, higher stability, sustained delivery, and defense against physical and chemical degradation. Therefore, new drug delivery using herbal ingredients has evolved into a method to enhance the pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic profile of herbal medicines to enhance safety and efficacy.
