High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! NASH (tugboat) (originally known as LT-5) is the last surviving U.S. Army vessel that participated in World War II's D-Day Normandy landing. The boat was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1992. The NASH was previously known as Major Elisha K. Henson (LT-5). After the war, it served the Army Corps of Engineers on the Great Lakes. In 1988, it was retired and donated to the H. Lee White Marine Museum in Oswego, New York. Jeremiah O'Brien (Liberty ship), perhaps the only surviving Merchant Marine ship that was in the D-Day armada, also a National Historic Landmark.
