Natural resource management

The master's degree course in Environmental Management and Spatial Planning, created by ESAIPVC in collaboration with other public and private entities, is committed to teaching excellence, keeping pace with technical and scientific developments and the use of new technologies in teaching, in accordance with the needs of students and society. In the selection and articulation of resources, students, the sequence and nature of curricular units and teaching methods, supported by real projects and systems, a thematic approach and multidisciplinary teamwork are pursued, as well as professionalization, without neglecting research, innovation and entrepreneurship skills.

Leonel Nunes has a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Beira Interior. Luís Miguel Brito has a doctorate from the University of Reading in the UK and an aggregate degree from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in Agronomic and Forestry Sciences. They are lecturers at the Ponte de Lima School of Agriculture (ESA IPVC).
