Nature and Extent of Disaster Management in Balochistan:

This book deals with the nature and extent of the disaster management among the rural inhabitants of District Barkhan in Balochistan. This work tries to understand the different types of indigenous early warning mechanisms in the locale i.e. wind based early warning system, animals based early warning system, and indigenous astronomy. This study also addresses the relationship between indigenous knowledge and early warning system.
