NCDs in India, physical education - a cost- effective way forward

Non communicable diseases(NCDs) are diseases of prolonged duration and mostly slow in progression. India currently faces the burden of these diseases and are responsible for millions of deaths. Indian health care system has not yet fully re- oriented, so there is a need for some cost effective agency to address the burden. Physical education is one such agency which can address this burden which is affecting the whole of our population at all ages.
