NDT Imaging for Concrete Inspection Reliability

This book highlights the significance of imaging techniques for concrete applications, and presents the general problems concerning concrete infrastructure at large. It provides an in-depth review of image processing techniques that can be employed for the evaluation of concrete structures, as well as the common types of deterioration that occur in concrete infrastructure. Dr. Shahid Kabir obtained his MSc in Geomatics and PhD in Structural Engineering from Sherbrooke University, Canada. His current research interests focus on sensor-based structural health monitoring, imaging for non-destructive testing, and the development of sustainable construction materials from agrowaste and industrial by-products.
