The Authors: Omar Swartz, an associate professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado Denver, received his Ph.D. from Purdue University and his J.D. from Duke University. He is the author or editor of 10 books and more than 80 essays, book chapters, and reviews. Katia Campbell is an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Denver and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado Denver. Christina Pestana received her M.S. from the University of Colorado Denver.
