Xu Wen is full Professor of College of International Studies, Southwest University of China, Editor-in-chief of Cognitive Linguistic Studies (Johnson Benjamins) , Asian-Pacific Journal of Second and Foreign Language Education (Springer Nature), and editorial board members of such journals as Metaphor and Symbol, and Review of Cognitive Linguistics. He is President of China Cognitive Translation Society, and the vice president of China Cognitive Linguistics Association, and China Pragmatics Association. He is the co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Cognitive Linguistics , and the editor of the book series Bloomsbury Studies in Language and Cognition, and Frontier in China Cognitive Linguistics. His major research interests include cognitive linguistics, semantics, pragmatics, cultural linguistics, anthropological linguistics, etc.

Ruiliang Tang is an Associate Professor, currently serving as the Chair of the Department of English Education at the College of International Studies, Southwest University. His primary research interests encompass pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, historical linguistics, and foreign language teaching. In recent years, he has published multiple academic and pedagogical research papers in leading academic journals, including Cognitive Linguistic Studies . Additionally, he has authored one scholarly monograph and edited two textbooks for English majors.
