Through these pages, we hope to inspire the reader to envision a bright future for the Congo, and to play an active role in bringing it about.Before we can envision a new Congo, it's essential to understand the challenges the country faces. We will examine the problems of corruption, inequality, poor governance and conflict that have hindered Congo's development. A new Congo must be based on ideals such as peace, social justice, equal opportunity and prosperity for all its citizens.
