No. 650 Squadron RAF was a of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. he squadron was formed on 1 December 1943 at RAF Cark, Wales from 'D' Flight of 289 Squadron. It was equipped with the Miles Martinet for target towing, and later used the Hawker Hurricane. In November 1944 it moved to RAF Bodorgan, Anglesey and was disbanded there on the 26 June 1945. The Royal Air Force (RAF) is the United Kingdom's air force, the oldest independent air force in the world. Formed on 1 April 1918, the RAF has taken a significant role in British military history ever since, playing a large part in World War II and in more recent conflicts.
