Non-Destructive Testing by Magnetic Techniques

The book covers the subject of NDT (Non-Destructive Test) applied to the case of magnetic techniques (magneto-inductive method), mainly on the field of rope transportation, but also offers a strong analysis of other possible application fields of the technology (as an example, NDT of metallic sheet). Mechanical design, electronic design and also acquisition system development and software design are covered inside the book, and experimental and on-field results are presented.

Francesco Ficili got his PhD in Mechatronics at Politecnico di Torino in 2011, after a bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master degree in Mechatronics Engineering. He is author of 6 pubblications on conferences, around 30 articles in electronic magazines and 1 patent. He's also CLAD LabView developer.
