Non-pharmacological techniques of behavior management are a key factor in managing children in daily clinical practice of pediatric dentistry.The trust built between the child and the dentist leads a long way in the child's co-operative behavior and thus successful completion of the dental treatment,It instills a positive dental attitude in children.Various non-pharmacological techniques of behavior management include Communication,Tell-Show-Do,Ask-Tell-Ask,Modelling,Pr-appointment modifications, protective stabilization, desensitization,Distraction etc.
