Normative basis of deviant conduct in young Brazilians

Social psychology, in general terms, aims not only to study the thinking, feeling and doing of people in interpersonal relationships, but also to converge in the direction of reflections and evaluations with other not dissimilar sciences (for example, sociology, anthropology, political science, etc.), as well as their applied perspectives in the verification of various social phenomena. The aim of this book is to reflect on the numerous social and psychological variables that explain the problem of delinquency in young people from a psychosocial perspective, the theoretical and empirical direction of which is to broaden the explanatory space regarding the phenomenon in question in youth dynamics. In general, the results of this study point to the importance of research that considers human values as antecedent variables of deviant behavior.
