This Lecture series notebook was created from the teaching experiences impacted to the pre-clinical students of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Edo University, Iyamho-Nigeria as part of the courses allocated to me to teach by the Edo University, Iyamho-Nigeria.The book will provide the required basic knowledge for any interested student or teacher in preparation for a full professional and academic training/teaching at the clinical/professional levels in Medical Laboratory Science, Laboratory medicine or pathological science programmes. It will also serve as a source of revision exercise for professionals in health sciences. There are five lecture series including: Introduction to Chemical pathology; Specimen Storage and disposal; Medical Laboratory hazards and Safety procedures ; Techniques and principles of sterilization and disinfection and Breeding of laboratory animals.The Lecture series was edited by Professor A.A.
