This book put forward an attempt to explain the use of hydorgel based ophthalmic preparations for the treatment of eye infections. This book deals with overview of various ocular drug delivery systems, normal physiology of eyes, mechanism of drug absorption through eyes, various eye infections, different types of hydrogels, its applications and advantages over conventional dosage forms and various types of polymers of interest.
