Nucleic acid metabolism and clinical relevance in health

In recent years, there has been an area of interest in Clinical metabolism and global investment in modern research in the area of medical science is on an upward trend. The current expansion in clinical metabolism has shown that our present knowledge of basic metabolism needs to be refined to keep up with the advances that are possible for developing new metabolic pathways and improved inhibition of metabolic pathway in the diagnosis/treatment in various types of diseases. This approach is becoming more important in the diagnosis/markers of diseases and an increasing the survival of patients. This book has laid out this beautiful subject in an exceptionally appealing and lucid manner. The engaging writing style and attractive design have made the text a pleasure for students and researchers to read and study throughout teaching. However, it has not been possible to include all conceivable topics of clinical metabolism and we have not reviewed the metabolism in detail since there are several other texts available in this area.

Md. Asad Khan est actuellement professeur adjoint au département de biochimie, à la faculté de médecine dentaire, et dirige également un projet (PI) au département des biosciences, JMI, New Delhi, Inde. Le Dr Khan a obtenu son doctorat et sa maîtrise en sciences à l'AMU, a été professeur adjoint au Narayan Medical College et a travaillé sur un projet à l'AIIMS, à New Delhi. Le Dr Khan a reçu le titre de DST-Young Scientist et a publié des articles à fort impact au niveau international.
