The nursing profession contributes much to health of the society; however, it is still not recognized and respected like other professions. Nurses play an important role in effective management of health care. Nurses as working women have a variety of roles to perform due to which they do face certain problems. Their well-being influences their productive capabilities, which influence the family as well as nation. The present publication analyses the problems of nurses in personal and professional life and their efforts to cope with them. It also suggests some coping strategies.
