This book offers focused and concise coverage of all issues relating to malnutrition in the field of neurology, and in particular addresses practical aspects of nutritional support from a neurology perspective. Ethem Murat Arsava, MD, is Professor of Neurology in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Arsava completed his neurology training in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Between 2005 and 2009 he was affiliated as a research fellow with AA Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Department of Radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA. Thereafter he returned to Hacettepe University, where he has since worked, primarily focusing on the subjects of stroke, stroke imaging, neurocritical care, and nutritional issues in neurological diseases. Dr. Arsava received a Young Investigator Award from the Turkish Academy of Sciences in 2012. He has been the author or co-author of more than 80 published papers in international peer-reviewed journals; his current h-index is 19. He is the co-founder of the Neuro-nutrition Workgroup within the Turkish Neurological Association.
