OBDII, Android and OpenERP Based Vehicle's 3M System
Details
On-Board Diagnostic System is a wide field and been focused by researcher for last two decades. Ever-growing technologies, Internet of Things and automation of vehicles motivated us to deal with OBDII with integration of online platform for Enterprise Resource Planning. The objective of this research is to give a solution for online fleet management, maintenance and monitoring system. Different Open Source platforms are available but the most appropriate two i.e. OpenERP (Odoo) and Torque are selected for implementation and the results are quite good and impressive after testing.

Asim Ul Haq is a Research Associate in OpenM4S Lab at University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from CIIT Islamabad, Pakistan in 2013. He was awarded an ICT R&D Scholarship for BS studies. His research interests include Control Systems, Computer Vision and Wireless Communication.
