Occupational hazards are defined as risks to people usually arising out of their employment. Cardiac catheterization was the step to using the technology in the sciences its procedure used for diagnosing and treating multi heart problems.Work in the cardiac catheterization unit needs to take precaution and applying safety measures and precaution in professions to prevent any hazards or injury. The source of hazards is the work environment, which can include physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and social aspects Hazard control and prevention strategies to assure every working man and woman safe, healthful workplace conditions.Research will enable the administrator of cardiac catheterization units to formulate policies to reduce occupational health hazards for cardiac catheterization unit 'staff.The study was conducted at all cardiac catheterization units in Cairo University Hospitals. Convenient sample of all health care team members (80). Two tools were developed by the investigator utilized for data collection.the physicians had the highest total mean awareness score towards occupational hazards while, the lowest total mean score of awareness for nurses aids.
