Occupational risk assessment in a general university hospital

This master's thesis project includes the risk assessment of different workstations of the general university hospital "Virgen de los Milagros", especially in the pharmacy service. In addition to the risk assessment, preventive measures and controls will also be proposed. The evaluation will be carried out contemplating the three disciplines of occupational risk prevention: Occupational Safety, using the general approach of the INSST (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), Industrial Hygiene, where the Biogaval Neo method will be used, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology: Ergonomic evaluation will be carried out using the ROSA method. Preventive or corrective measures, together with the controls to be applied, will be derived from the Preventive Activity Planning, which will be based on the risk assessments carried out. Priorities will be determined based on the magnitude of the risks identified, taking into account factors such as the probability of occurrence, the severity of the impact and the potential repercussion on a group. In this way, more immediate deadlines will be established to address the most serious risks.
