Occupational safety applied to the manufacture of chemical products, is the result of a course completion work in production engineering at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), which was supervised by Professor Maria Betania Gama dos Santos, and approved by the board formed by Professors Elisângela Silva Porto Sales and Ivanildo Araújo Fernandes. Companies that manufacture chemical products, specifically cleaning products, because they have a large number of substances and end products present in the environment, can expose workers to various types of agents and risks, which can cause damage to workers' health or even accidents. The importance of this subject is due to the fact that the company needs to provide a healthy and safe working environment, without compromising the integrity of the workers. The aim of this book is to assess the risks to which workers in a cleaning products manufacturing industry located in the city of Campina Grande, PB, are subjected.

Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) and in Business Administration from the State University of Paraíba (UEPB).
