Offline Hand Written Signature Verification Using Geometric Features

Signature has been a distinguishing feature for person identification through the ages. Even today an increasing number of transactions, especially financial, are being authorized via signatures. In this work an automatic Offline Verification of handwritten signatures is developed which uses set of simple shape based geometric features of signatures. The system has been tested on large data sets The accuracy of results is 96%.
