Oil and Gas Law in Uganda

A glance at the law relating to oil and gas in Uganda.This piece explores the legal framework governing Uganda's oil and gas sector, offering insights into this rich and emerging field that has the potential to boost the Pearl of Africa's economy. Both the government and the private sector have recognized that this discovery could position Uganda as the second- or third-largest oil-producing country in Africa. This work aims to reflect on the laws that govern this promising and strategically important sector.
